do you ever get this?
Well i've previously helped with crocodile swamp, i've made my friends website and started my own social network, but I always have this problem...

whenever I do something, be it in flash or photoshop, I always like to get my parents to rate it, because they are always very paraising and stuff, but becausee they know i'm rubbish at art, they always question me.
And when i ask to buy a domain, or a new server - they always question me. And for some reason it seems embarassing to explain to them what im actually doing. Like the turtle island site, i showed my mum the flash document and gave her a demo of what it does, and she started asking about what it was. I stupidly showed her the forums, adn she started questioning me about who was doing this with me and stuff it is so frustrating having to answer these questions.

Like a while ago when I asked my dad to buy crocodileswamp.com - I got asked who iw as doing this with adn stuff, but I actually told him I was working with random people I can't tell my mum that, she'd get worried

They know. My mom is proud of me for doing things like this xD

my dad is because of my skills, and at 12 being able to code a website in flash, ASP.net, HTML and javascript, im not surprised hes proud!

But my mum thinks i spend too much time on the PC, and gets suspicious of what i do all day.
But she knows I don't do irresponsible things, because there is to much typing going on that she can here

Sometimes, like if I ask can I download flash or something she asks what is it.

my mom doesnt care. just to tell you, my dad is idiot at computer he doesnt even know how to copy and paste
my mom is those computer genius whenever i got my computer all stuck she helps me out. she is those ppl who can install those hardware and reset the whole computer program and set up the code and sort the wire one by one and get everything unstuck and her vocab for computer is just like bla bla bla to me! she knows wat im on to and she teached me all the safe stuff on computer when i was 5 and she started letting me explore myself. when i dl stuff i dont have to ask her. she doesnt even know wat i play or watever. i never show her anything and she doesnt ask. we have a good system on computer and she trust me. tell your mom that you are safe enough to go on your own. my mom started letting me have msn and talk with strangers when i am 8. really, you should make rules for computer. maybe you should copy this. this is wat i promised my mom and that she wont bother me.

i get to go on educational sites when i am 5
i get to go on game sites(for kids) when i am 6
i get to have msn when i am 7
i get to strangers on forums and stuff when i am 8
i get to go on sites that are not safe like youtube without my moms permission when i am 9
i get to start downloading stuff when i am 10
i get to play computer with my door shut when i am 11(yes now my bro and sis dont peek in!xD)
i get to get a new laptop(looking forward to it!) when i am 12
i get to go on all sites but cannot do stuff that involve money when i am 13
i get to do watever i want except going on adults site when i am 14 YES!
yah thats the rule and i love it cuz my mom wont bother me that much with the rules there. you should make up one with your mom too!

My rules, ever since I started getting on the computer, have always been "Do Whatever you Want Except Go on Adult Websites." xD
